Santorini

The second morning I bused to Pyrgos, a village perched on a hill with panoramic views of the island. At the top are a Venetian castle (really not much left of the castle to see) and a church. I saw work being done to spruce up the village’s buildings and I hope they don’t spruce up the village too much. Not many people explore here and I enjoyed the quiet outing.  Here are some photos I took in Pyrgos.

In the afternoon I stopped into the Aressana Hotel & Spa in Fira for a wonderful hot stone massage. The hotel has a beautiful pool and restaurant area.  www.slh.com/hotels/aressana-spa-hotel-and-suites/
